Devkund Waterfall, located near the village of Bhira in Maharashtra, is one of the most picturesque waterfalls in the Western Ghats. Known for its serene and pristine beauty, it is a popular destination among trekkers and nature lovers

Setting Out in Style
The Journey Begins
The trek began with an early morning drive to the base village of Bhira, nestled in the Sahyadri ranges. Participants boarded comfortable buses, buzzing with energy and anticipation. The scenic drive through winding roads, lush greenery, and tranquil countryside was a perfect start to our adventure. With light music and shared stories, the journey set the tone for an exciting day ahead.
The Breakfast
A Hearty Breakfast to Fuel the Journey
Before setting out on the trek, we made a pit stop for a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast at a local eatery. Trekkers enjoyed a variety of regional delicacies, from piping hot poha to comforting tea, giving them the energy boost needed to tackle the trail. This meal not only fueled our bodies but also gave participants a chance to bond and gear up for the trek ahead.

The Trail to Devkund Waterfall & Exploring Natural Splendour
The trail to Devkund Waterfall is a nature lover’s dream, weaving through dense forests, small streams, and open fields. The path is a moderate trek, making it accessible to both beginners and seasoned trekkers. Participants enjoyed the journey as much as the destination, taking in the calming sounds of nature and the cool breeze that accompanied us throughout the hike.
After a few hours of trekking, the sight of the Devkund Waterfall was a reward like no other. This stunning plunge waterfall, fed by the Kundalika River, cascades into a serene blue lagoon surrounded by rugged cliffs. The sound of rushing water, coupled with the misty spray, created an atmosphere of pure tranquillity. Many participants took a moment to sit back, relax, and soak in the breathtaking beauty of the falls.
